My wicked photoshop skillz, let me show you them.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW. BUT SAM DOES SAY 'PERM', RIGHT?!? HE SAYS 'HAPPY PERM' I AM NOT WRONG ABOUT THIS.

I would have used a picture with hair even remotely the same color as Jensen's, but uh. You try searching 'man perm' at Google images and see what you come up with. The pickin's are slim.

I don't hate Bela as much as I thought I did. I still don't like her, don't get me wrong, I really will not be sad if she ends up gone, for whatever reason. But she's FUN to dislike. And it is fun to think about Dean wanting to shoot her in the head.

DEAN IN A TUX, SOMEONE PLZ CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AS MY PANTS SEEM TO BE ON FIAH.

And the "Don't objectify me!" and the whole series of faces that led up to it, from "Haha funny" to "Don't tease me like that" to "Holy shit she might be serious" to "Nah, there's no way she's serious" to "But she MIGHT BE," killed me.

I'm a little peeved that suddenly now Bela is calling Dean dumb. I've seen a lot of people in fandom who honestly believe that Dean has no brains in that pretty little head of his, and of course he makes some dumb decisions on the show, but WHERE is it ever proven that Dean is dumb? Like, really, below-average intelligence dumb? He might not have gone to college, but come on. He's not stupid. And I was really hoping that somewhere in the episode he'd have a chance to prove her wrong, otherwise it just felt like a cheap shot and an easy way to get fans to laugh and go "Oh yeah, he IS such a goon, haha!"

I feel like I might get beaten for this, but uh, when I started thinking there was a little too much "Let's share our feelings," I realized it had to be a Sera Gamble episode. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that every once in a while they open up, but the whole conversation just threw me. I can see Sam saying the things he did, begging Dean to give a crap about himself, but Dean telling Sam he was going to be ok, that he'd go on hunting, that he's stronger than Dean...I dunno. Just didn't sit right with me. Not that I don't think Dean doesn't believe that, or that he'd never say it in the right situation, but right then it just felt forced.

I was completely uncomfortable during the, "You. She got one over on you, not us," scene. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from that. It was well-written, definitely, it was very realistic, but I think Dean was just trying to salvage a little dignity by using 'us', and Sam just shut him down. What was the point? Was Sam so upset at Dean for letting her get away with the hand that he wanted to make sure Dean knew it was his fault? Was he trying to make Dean take responsibility (which would tie in with the overall theme of their arguing this episode, where Sam wants Dean to face up and stick around, admit that he doesn't want to die, try to figure a way out of it, etc.) Or was he just being a douche? Because that's kind of how it came off to me.

When Sam said, "I'm starting to feel like I can't save anybody," my brother and I both piped up with the same reaction. "Maybe you could save more people if you didn't shoot them in the head!" :D (Just fyi, I'm totally down with him killing the CRD last episode, it was just a funny thing to say so soon after he was fully responsible for killing a human host.)

LMAO OH GOD. That picture is so DISTURBING. XDD I LOVE IT.

The "Don't objectify me!" was hilarious and adorable. I just. Oh, love.

Ditto on the dumb comment. Really felt like a cheap shot, but I already ranted about this. :[

dude, so like omgwtfbbq right?:

Your asthma starts acting up, something that hasn’t happened since you were a child, dreaming about fire and smoke and blood dripping down from the ceiling, but Sammy digs out an inhaler from somewhere, cups his hand over your mouth as you breathe it in, rubs little circles on your back as you open and close your fists helplessly.

and: that pic is fucked up, dude. soooooo wrong. and mostly? i think a lot of those lines were just supposed to be funny one-liners. i don't think they thought past that, really. and sera gamble is the one behind all the emo and crying? 'cause goddamn.

Okay. That is by far the scariest/most awesome picture I have EVER seen!

I loved the Don't objectify me line. So great! But you know what I found even more awesome than Dean in a tux? Sam undoing his tie in the car afterwards. For some reason, I have a huge thing about undone bow ties. So great.

That picture is awesomesauce. Disturbing, but awesomesauce.

I was completely uncomfortable during the, "You. She got one over on you, not us," scene.

I was too. I didn't really get it. Sam came off like a douche in my opinion :)

For the record, Sera didn't write the episode. I don't remember who did, but it was someone else, and I'm too lazy to grab my copy and check. Not one of the main 4 that I know by name easily though. Lawrence someone, maybe? Not sure.

I love Bela, and Dean/Bela, in the way that I love that they totally shoot off sparks from their continued snarking and conflict. Of course, I tend to ship snarky couples, so that probably explains it pretty well. However, I don't really see her talking about Dean being "dumb" as her actually thinking he is. She goes out of her way to piss him off - hello, getting the Impala towed? So I think it's more a way to get under his skin. Same way Dean probably picked on Sam for always being a nerd, or how he does pick on Sam for being a girl all the time. I doubt he actually thinks of Sam as a girl/gay/whatever, but it's fun to mess with him. I think of it as largely the same way, personally.

Regardless, I had fun with this episode, but I do agree that the "not us - you" bit was unnecessary and didn't add anything. AHOY, MATEY! HERE BE PIRATES! :D

Wow, that's a disturbing image. We don't need Dean afro.
