My wicked photoshop skillz, let me show you them.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW. BUT SAM DOES SAY 'PERM', RIGHT?!? HE SAYS 'HAPPY PERM' I AM NOT WRONG ABOUT THIS.
I would have used a picture with hair even remotely the same color as Jensen's, but uh. You try searching 'man perm' at Google images and see what you come up with. The pickin's are slim.
I don't hate Bela as much as I thought I did. I still don't like her, don't get me wrong, I really will not be sad if she ends up gone, for whatever reason. But she's FUN to dislike. And it is fun to think about Dean wanting to shoot her in the head.
DEAN IN A TUX, SOMEONE PLZ CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AS MY PANTS SEEM TO BE ON FIAH.
And the "Don't objectify me!" and the whole series of faces that led up to it, from "Haha funny" to "Don't tease me like that" to "Holy shit she might be serious" to "Nah, there's no way she's serious" to "But she MIGHT BE," killed me.
I'm a little peeved that suddenly now Bela is calling Dean dumb. I've seen a lot of people in fandom who honestly believe that Dean has no brains in that pretty little head of his, and of course he makes some dumb decisions on the show, but WHERE is it ever proven that Dean is dumb? Like, really, below-average intelligence dumb? He might not have gone to college, but come on. He's not stupid. And I was really hoping that somewhere in the episode he'd have a chance to prove her wrong, otherwise it just felt like a cheap shot and an easy way to get fans to laugh and go "Oh yeah, he IS such a goon, haha!"
I feel like I might get beaten for this, but uh, when I started thinking there was a little too much "Let's share our feelings," I realized it had to be a Sera Gamble episode. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that every once in a while they open up, but the whole conversation just threw me. I can see Sam saying the things he did, begging Dean to give a crap about himself, but Dean telling Sam he was going to be ok, that he'd go on hunting, that he's stronger than Dean...I dunno. Just didn't sit right with me. Not that I don't think Dean doesn't believe that, or that he'd never say it in the right situation, but right then it just felt forced.
I was completely uncomfortable during the, "You. She got one over on you, not us," scene. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from that. It was well-written, definitely, it was very realistic, but I think Dean was just trying to salvage a little dignity by using 'us', and Sam just shut him down. What was the point? Was Sam so upset at Dean for letting her get away with the hand that he wanted to make sure Dean knew it was his fault? Was he trying to make Dean take responsibility (which would tie in with the overall theme of their arguing this episode, where Sam wants Dean to face up and stick around, admit that he doesn't want to die, try to figure a way out of it, etc.) Or was he just being a douche? Because that's kind of how it came off to me.
When Sam said, "I'm starting to feel like I can't save anybody," my brother and I both piped up with the same reaction. "Maybe you could save more people if you didn't shoot them in the head!" :D (Just fyi, I'm totally down with him killing the CRD last episode, it was just a funny thing to say so soon after he was fully responsible for killing a human host.)
