I just got done moaning about how terrible it is to live in Iowa, but today I'm thanking my lucky stars. I heard that the invasion started on one of the coasts early today, so we had time to fortify our house and stockpile goods. It's a good thing I got my brother The Zombie Survival Guide for his birthday. Never thought we'd actually need it. Now we're just waiting to see if we can make it through the night.

In...what I would like to call better news, but am realistically inclined to call as bad if not worse, there's a trailer for Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. I don't even know whether to call it an upside or a downside that both Corey Feldman and Corey Haim are in it. I'm tentatively calling it an upside that Kiefer Sutherland's little brother Angus Sutherland is in it. He looks...a little bit like Kiefer. But even looking a little bit like Kiefer Sutherland is a good thing. In case you've forgotten how insanely attractive Kiefer is,

Baby!Kiefer. I've always had this weird love/hate thing with Donald Sutherland - I think he's an amazing actor and I can acknowledge that he's attractive sometimes, but he creeps me out on an epic level for some reason. That Stephen King movie and An American Haunting DID NOT HELP.

The trailer only shows Feldman, but IMDB lists them both. IMDB isn't famous for having things right though, so. *shrug* Ah, Corey Haim. He is so my early-nineties boyfriend. :D

I kind of get the feeling that director's cut would be like, three minutes long. :( I don't know how much he features in the movie, but it'd be just like Hollywood to give him a thirty-second cameo and make the trailer look like he's starring.

YES! Absolutely!!!! That's why I have such conflicted feelings for Tripp Darling. He is awesome, but I can never really trust him. That probably means that he was the perfect casting choice for him :D
