Yeah, I know it hasn't officially aired yet. But I said I was going to do one of these things, so here it is. There is not nearly enough talk about The Black Donnellys on my friends page, but there seems to be plenty of people talking about it elsewhere, so this is my clever ploy to get that talk centralized on my friends list. Please be aware that if you haven't seen the show yet, there will be spoilers in the comments. In addition, there will be spoilers regarding the differences between the unaired pilot and the one that will air. Be warned.

While watching the pilot of The Black Donnellys, I recognized (insert name of actor) from (insert name of actor's previous work): Okay, the first person I recognized definitely went like this: 'Hey, it's that guy! The gay kid from the episode of SVU where the dad puts his boyfriend's head through a wall!' Which was Jonathan Tucker. And then I realized that Tom Guiry was Smalls. But yeah, definitely 'That guy from SVU'.
Favorite moment in the pilot: The fight between Tommy and Jimmy. Oh my god, it's so not a TV fight, they're just trying to hit each other in the head and it's such a brothers thing to do. And the ending sequence.

While watching the pilot of The Black Donnellys, I recognized: Olivia Wilde from that brief stint where I was dragged by my ex to watch the lesbians make out on The OC..luckily they are both gone, except that I still respect Olivia Wilde.
Favorite moment in the pilot: Knowing that it was Tommy in the car. It explained so much about his thought process. He loves art, but he feels so guilty, like he has a debt to pay that he can never abandon his brothers, even if it ends up with more violence. It shaped so much of who he was to become.
