I got my car stuck in the snow the other night while on the phone with

snarkyrainbow. Look,

schneestern tells me I need to keep up my reputation as a failboat, and I really don't think getting stuck in a snowbank while on the phone with a flister is a bad way to go about doing that. I hung up with her and put my car in neutral and tried to push it out myself, which ended...badly. Not with me getting run over! Which occurred to me later could very possibly have happened, but luckily I escaped with wet knees and a bruised ego.

I got the best package in the mail from

tuesdaysgone the other day, omg. Seriously. Not only did it contain three tins of the BEST lip balm I ever ever encountered (although

meegzi31 sent me one a couple years ago that is like the Holy Grail of lip glosses and I haven't been able to find anything even remotely similar since) but it also had a gorgeous necklace she made for me and a music mix AND A PICTURE OF A MOTHERFUCKING ZOMBIE/VAMPIRE UNICORN. All I'm saying is that Lars is the best and if she wasn't already married I would have whisked her away to Canada by now.

maryangel200 recently that was full of alkjfalj CANDY AND LIP GLOSS. From France! Is there anything better? I THINK NOT. And I got a beautiful bracelet and card from

emmanation (thank you, bb!), pretty sparkly cards from

_onebreath (along with a postcard from Scotland \O/) and

bratalie, and a super cute card from

musictoyourlips! Thank you so much guys, my holidays are already better because of you. ♥

I am so tired wtf. Eff getting up early on a Sunday. The fire department's doing a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser, and I told Allen I'd go and meet all his friends, donate to a good cause. Plus, uh, firefighters. So I got all dolled up, did my hair, was fairly pleased with the results. All the dudes were married and/or old. If life really loved me there would have been a single firefighter there that looked like Frank Iero. Come on, he'd make an awesome firefighter. Constantly rushing into the fray. Looking hot all sweaty and smudgy. Monkeying around on the trucks. And Gerard could be a paramedic, and there is a budding romance amongst disaster scenes. Or Bob. Bob would make an awesome firefighter/paramedic/search and rescue dude. Has somebody written this? If not, why?

schneestern, are you getting any of my e-mails? I've sent a bunch, but I don't know if they're getting through. I miss youuuuu.

ysosrsbandom. I can't believe it's almost over. Sadface. The Hot Addicts have already decided to meet once a week for cat macro parties, and hopefully dance parties, too.
