Putting out another call for holiday cards, if you want one! If you already left your address in this post, don't worry about leaving it again, although I would appreciate you filling out the second half of this poll. And listen, do not even be stubborn and not leave your address just because you're not sending out cards. I HAVE the cards. If I don't send them out, they go to waste. So by leaving your address, you're doing me a favor.

I've seen a few people post these so far, but more of you need to get on that. Even if it's just fannish stuff you want, I'd like to try and grant as many as I can this year. And if you've posted one, link me! Obvs you are under no obligation to even try to grant any of these, it's just a just in case kinda thing. :D
Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1. Donate to a charity. One of your choosing is great, or if you're not sure which charities are legit, check out give.org. If you're donating in my name, I'd love to see it go to an Alzheimer's, spina bifida, or brain cancer charity, as my family as been strongly affected by all three.
2. Give blood / volunteer at a nursing home / donate books to the library / donate food to a food bank / etc. Seriously, I honestly believe that every little bit counts.
3. Lip balm/gloss. I am addicted to the stuff. Even the cheap, unflavored ones, or the little kid kinds.
4. Books. Not that I have room for more, but if you have books you don't want anymore, or that you're thinking of throwing out (and don't plan on donating them), send them my way. I'll take whatever you've got. I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, but I'd still rather get them than see them thrown away.
5. Bracelets. Jelly bracelets, friendship bracelets, jangly ones, little kid ones, whatever. I love bracelets.
6. Things to put on my walls. My walls are very empty right now, so posters from any of my fandoms, even magazine spreads from any of the shows I watch would be cool. Or hand-drawn stuff, I would love that! Even just an ad from a magazine that caught your eye, or a silly collage of cut-outs.
7. Fic! Oh man, fic written especially for me always makes my whole year. I'm really jonesing for some good Sark (Alias) fic, either paired up with Will, Vaughn or Weiss from the show, or crossed over with pretty much any of my other fandoms. Or even a good gen Sark fic, getting into his head or getting into his past. Or Adam (Heroes) fic! (I'm on a David Anders kick, obviously.) I would kill for some fic explaining just what he's been doing all this time. Of course, Supernatural fic is always a good bet, Dean/Sam kinkiness is fun, or some good dark fic, or even some gen-ish brotherly snarking. I honestly would be happy with anything from any of my fandoms, just fic!
8. A layout. A David Anders layout. The layout I'm using right now is super cute, but it's not very personalized. I would just about kill for a pretty layout with him. I'm going to be doing a David Anders picspam post in the near future, so if you're eying this as a possibility, check that post for some of my favorite pictures of him.
9. The song from here. It's a cover of AC/DC's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and I cannot find it anywhere. Apparently it's from this CD, but there aren't any artists listed, and I'm coming up empty. I don't want the whole CD, I just want that one song. I don't even know why I like this cover so much. It could have something to do with the fact that in my head, it's associated with David Anders in a fucking SUIT doing fucking PUSHUPS whilst fucking SMOKING. IDK.
10. Shiny things. When I say I get distracted easily by shiny things? I totally mean it. I love little baubles, or cute little knick-knacks, anything sparkly/glittery/with bright colors/etc. I'm five years old sometimes, and I'm ok with that. In the same vein, anything My Little Pony/Care Bears/Strawberry Shortcake, and I will be yours forever.
If you need my address for anything, e-mail me. I know it kind of ruins the surprise, but I'm not totally comfortable putting it in a non-friends locked post. :-/

I SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY AGREE. Manipulation is just...why is it so effing SEXY? When he gathers Maya to himself and is like, stroking her hair and grinning? I CAN'T HELP IT OMG SO HOT. And I didn't realize it last night, but he uses his index finger while he's stroking her hair like he does when he's cutting people's heads off. !!!

OMG I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT! GAAAH! THAT MAKES IT EVEN HOTTER!
But yeah, all I could in that scene was I WANT TO BE HER EVEN IF ALL HE REALLY WANTS IS TO CUT MY HEAD OPEN! :D And god, I just LOVE how Zach can switch from the adorable innocent guy to OMGSOEVIL in an instant!
I think part of why it is so fucking hot is because manipulation takes cleverness. So, since evil boys = HOT and smart boys = HOT, evil smart guys = obviously SO HOT OMG! *sigh* I really need to find more good manipulative!sylar fic.
I have been.. er.. studying that scene somewhat intensely by now, and I am so confused by her hand. Or rather by it's lack of movement. When they kiss and the camera pans past them, her hand just lies there, without movement, on his WET NAKED BACK! I can't help but wonder how she managed to not run it up and down his body. I honestly wonder whether it was an acting direction or she just for some utterly insane reason just didn't think of it. I mean, HONESTLY! How is it even possible to have your hand there and not... let it wander a bit?
