First and foremost, Happy Birthday to Frank Iero! He and I are officially the same age again, although he's thirty days younger than me. :D

I did a bad thing last night. I caved and watched The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. It was so, so bad. I didn't go into it expecting anything great, but it was so much worse than I expected. Kiefer Sutherland's half-brother is in it! I thought it would at least be good in that cheesy way! ( spoiler that may ruin your enjoyment of the first movie if you never plan on seeing the second, so beware )

Holy geez, that Halloween Trick or Treat meme thing got tons more replies than I expected, I am so psyched to give all you hooligans a treat (or maybe a trick if I'm feeling particularly mean :D). Feel free to head on over and knock, but I can't guarantee everything will be done before midnight tonight.

I bit the bullet and signed up for NaNo. (Other NaNo-ites, be my friend!) *facepalm* I do actually have a story in mind, which is better than the last time I signed up with not even a clue of what to write. I'll probably do a filter, because I don't want to subject anyone to listening to me brainstorm/whine if they don't want to!

And listen, do not even be stubborn and not leave your address just because you're not sending out cards. I HAVE the cards. If I don't send them out, they go to waste. So by leaving your address, you're doing me a favor.

I've seen a few people post these so far, but more of you need to get on that. Even if it's just fannish stuff you want, I'd like to try and grant as many as I can this year. And if you've posted one, link me! Obvs you are under no obligation to even try to grant any of these, it's just a just in case kinda thing. :D

Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Which brings me to a question I've been pondering: just how many women has Dean slept with? (Saying he's only slept with women, which I'm not, but. That's a question for another time.) So, poll!

This poll isn't to gauge how many times he's had sex, because I'm sure we're all aware that if you have Dean Winchester in your bed, you do not stop at once. Ever. Just how many women overall he's been with. I know the number increments are wonky, but they seemed to fit.

This is super long. If I had something to offer in appreciation of your reading, I'd offer it, but seeing as how the rain that we've been having for TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT makes my internet connection stop working every five minutes or so, I have not been doing any uploading. So you'll just have to take my less fun thanks very much. ♥

Today is my day to knuckle down and get stuff done, but I have to pause and post quickly, because the reveal was done for big_little, and I just have to say, um, who got the best big sister in the world? That would be ME.

Do you know what I got ON TOP of all the awesome stuff I got throughout the week? I got a package from my big sister, aka such_jaunt, filled with THE AWESOMEST STUFF IN ALL AWESOMEDOM. Candy, and a fluffy pen, and a plush dog, and a book about BFFs (because we totes are), and a mix CD about friends (because again, totes), and bracelets (WHICH HELLO, IF YOU KNOW ME AT ALL YOU KNOW I LOVE MY BRACELETS) and one of them even says "Jess BFF" because yeah, if you didn't get the 'we totes are' by now, you haven't been reading. AND YOU GUYS. A MY LITTLE PONY FROM 1982. MINTY EVEN. She's beautiful and green and has shamrocks, and she is now the BFF of my other MLP, Daybreak, which dementedlove sent me not too long ago, and just. Yeah. I mean, I must have done something REALLY REALLY good in my past life to get friends like these. Barbara, we are going on that road trip someday, come hell or high water. Thank you so very much, for everything, for being amazing and making me feel amazing and loved and being my big sister. ♥

Is there a way to say thank you more? Like is there a phrase that means 'thank you times a trillion kabillion'? Because I need that, someone should get on inventing that phrase.

And hee, my little sister was stepliana, and I adore her, and I had such an awesome time giving her stuff. Except when her RL friend was like YOU ARE A CRAZY STALKER AREN'T YOU. LMAO. No really, even that was ok because it just means she's got friends that look out for her and that's A-OK by me. :)

And ok, a quick poll because I now have a TBD/SPN crossover fic stuck in my head thanks to schneestern (DAMN YOU *shakes fist menacingly*) and I need your opinion:
