Argh, yuletide. I finished my story and uploaded it about fifteen minutes before deadline. :-/ I actually considered writing two stories for my recipient anyway, and then schneestern got out her porn-fu while I was like, four hours away from deadline and I suddenly thought I should start another story for my recipient. THANKS JULES. Anyway, the porn story is not the story I uploaded, but I may very well finish it just in case my other one sucks. I can distract from the crappiness with PORN. Works every time.

So now I have like seven bajillion other stories I want to finish before Christmas, and pinch hits are going out tonight. Cue me, huddling in a blanket with seven half-drunk cups of coffee sitting around me and my fingers bleeding.

Um. Hmm. I watched 30 Days Of Night twice the other day, once by myself and once with my siblings, and I am definitely crushing a little on Melissa George.



Josh Hartnett was not too shabby himself. Ben Foster was, unfortunately, quite shabby and I would really like to see him in a role soon where he doesn't look like a total skeev/creep/psycho. And it was a pretty creepy movie, despite some fairly large plotholes/flaws.

I'm fairly sure I'm just going to go through a phase for every single person on Alias. I may have had a five-second fling with Michael Vartan the day before yesterday.

Michael Vartan is one of those people that looks way better on camera than he does in pictures, I have to admit. He always looks really wooden/uncomfortable/awkward in pictures. :-/ Hence the not having very many I like.

Ok, yeah, I'll own up. I think Bradley Cooper is pretty freaking hot, too.





And I realize that I'm made of fail and missed both angel_kathryn's and psychotic_scam's birthdays. :( I hope you both had wonderful ones, and if there's anything I can do belatedly to make them better, let me know!

Oh, but as cool as your cards were, they don't match up to the TWO nearly identical cards I got from the John Edwards campaign. Sorry. (I KEED I KEED! Obvs.)

Melissa George.. did she play Vaughn's wife in Alias? I remember I hated her (not because of her herself, just because of her killjoy character)...

OMG, Jennifer and Micheal.. I had plenty of pics about them in my pc once.. I should really go figure out where they are now... O__o
and you're right, Jensen and Micheal's pose is pretty much the same.. these phtographers don't have immagination at all... I could pick Jensen and think about a thousand and more poses and he wouldn't look the same once! *thinks about naked poses... grin...double grin*

Bradley Cooper is hot too but not always... there are pics where he looks a bit emaciated.. eat something boy! :P

Yep, that was her. I really, really disliked her character in Alias the first time I watched it. I mean, wanted her dead ASAP. :D But for some reason I have a soft spot for her now that I've watched the third season again. Plus, she and Sark were pretty hot together (although I would much preferred to see Sark/Vaughn... >.>)

You should do a Jennifer and Michael picspam if you find your stash! I don't have nearly enough pictures of either of them. :(

Yeah, Michael Vartan is the same way, just going through pictures of him tonight there were several where he looked almost sickly skinny. :(

Christmas needs to stay awaaay for at least another two weeks! I am not ready!

I liked 30 Days of Night. It thought the atmosphere was fantastic, all oppressive and scray. And the cinematography was pretty great, too. The one thing that really bothered the hell out of me was that these ancient super-powered vampires managed to not find the survivors for 9 DAYS while they were sitting in the damned POLICE STATION, which had HUGE FUCKING WINDOWS to every side of the building. Also, the Vamps could have saved themselves a lot of trouble if they had bothered to put someone of watch-duty at the damned supermarket, since the survivors would need to eat at some point.
Don't get me wrong, I still really liked the movie, it was pretty and scary and a lot more gory that I had expected. But yeah, if the vamps had been a little more organized, the movie would have been over a lot sooner. :D

Dammit, stop making me want to watch Alias! I don't have time for another fandom!!! :D

I knowwwwwww! Sobble sobble, there are so many things I want to get done for people, and it's gonna take a lot longer than five days. :(

I thought there was a lot of potential for 30 Days of Night. I totally agree, it was very prettily shot and the atmosphere was fantastic, very oppressive, claustrophobic almost, and they got the sense of paranoia and frantic survival just right. But yes, the plot holes just detracted SO MUCH. I mean, these vampires were supposed to have been around for...hundreds? Thousands of years? I just don't buy that they wouldn't know how to round people up or keep an eye out. There were so many times that people went out with no cover and there were NO vampires around, despite the town being TINY and there being LOTS of vampires.

YOU SHOULD! Oh man, I totally know what you mean about not having time for another fandom, believe me, but it is SO worth it. David Anders! Being all British and sexy and evil! :D

Yeah, the promise (threat?) of porn from me is usually pretty hollow. :D I love porn done right, but for some reason it's never my default setting to write. I usually write PG-PG13 stuff, and really have to work at writing porn. So it usually doesn't happen. Hopefully the porn I do write will not be crappy and distracting! :D

lol, I know how you feel though, there have been stories I've read where I deliberately skipped the porn because it really detracted from the otherwise good story. I think some authors feel like they have to have porn in the story or else people won't read it.

No, I totally hear you. The first time I watched Alias, I was having a hard time not slapping my TV screen because I hated her so much. (I'm not so much a Syd/Vaughn fangirl as I am a Sark/Vaughn, or at least a Sark-alone-being-his-bad-self fangirl. :D) I've read a lot of fanfic lately though, and god, you know, somehow they're able to take a totally unlikable character and make her sympathetic and cool. So I still hate the canon version, but I can definitely see where there is a lot of potential for her in fic.

God, he looks adorable there. I actually thought he was pretty bland upon my first watching of Alias, but I think it was mostly because I was blinded by my Anders love. :D I'm still Team Anders over Team Vartan, but I can understand the attraction.

I watched To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar just for Michael Vartan. I could not stop laughing every time he was on screen, that has to be my favorite role of his. :D

I've also developed quite a bit of a crush on Melissa when I watched Alias, and to see her again in 30 Days of Night was a nice bonus. I've enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Sure, it definitely had its flaws and plotholes, but the setting looked amazing, there was some eyecandy and the vampires had a few nice badass moments, too. :)

I didn't like Melissa George quite as much on Alias (although I couldn't deny her smokin' hotness, her character just made it hard to like her at all) but yep, 30 Days of Night definitely clinched it. I want to rewatch Amityville Horror now, too, and I know there's a new one coming out where she's a cop, I'll have to watch for that.

Yes! I really want icons of 30 Days of Night because it really is beautiful, but all the ones I've found are of the vampires, which. Not so pretty. :D

I don't know who Melissa George is, but she makes me think that Eliza Dushku had a baby with Julie Benz/Scarlett Johansson /Billie Piper, depending upon which photo I'm looking at. Um. Weird, maybe. But anything involving Eliza Dushku is A OK with me, so. <3

BRADLEY COOPER. I had a crush on him in Kitchen Confidential. I think I used to get him and Jensen mixed up all the time. They were both on WB shows and then moved onto other shows soon after, and it confused the HELL out of me.

ooh Melissa George (Wow she looks super hot in pic 6 I would kill to look that good!) It was so weird when she was turned up on Alias I was all "oh my gosh she's on Alias" Lol (I used to watch her in Home & away as a kid & then I spent most of my teenage years watching random movies, so I had seen her in other stuff) I didn't know she was going to be on it and though I like the actress I hated her character because she wasn't allowed to interfere with my Syd & Vaughn lol. ...speaking of which ooh the pretty! - I know what you mean about looking odd in some pics - I have some other nice ones of him and a heap of Jen on my PC if you're interested?

GAH I KNOW. I always have remind myself that they have the luxury of personal trainers and airbrushing, lol. :D

I think the first thing I saw her in was the remake of Amityville Horror, actually, and I was way too focused on Ryan Reynolds (and his ever-expanding beard of DOOM) to notice her much. :D But yeah, I hated her on Alias, too, at least the first time through. I read a bunch of fic where she was written as a lot more interesting and sympathetic than she ever was on the show, so on second watching, I actually don't mind her so much. Then again, I'm not huge on Syd/Vaughn though, so I probably would hate her more if I was. :)

I would love love LOVE more pics of both Michael and Jennifer! Jennifer is so freaking adorable, I think she is the only woman in the entire world that could have made me think it was cool for Ben Affleck to get married.

Aww, I love Will! I really didn't like Francie AT ALL, mostly because of that one episode when Sydney told her her fiancee was cheating on her and Francie flipped out, and after that I just couldn't see her as anything but a horrible friend. :(
